Opeyemi Odeyale is an international entrepreneur and Co-Founder, CFO, and COO of Ping Express, a fintech startup that makes money transfers easier. Opeyemi handles business matters in Dallas, TX, London, England, and Nigeria. With nearly two decades of experience in finance and accounting, Opeyemi is uniquely qualified to oversee all financial matters at Ping Express.
Opeyemi began his interest in finance by receiving his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Sokoto in 2000. In 2007, Opeyemi gained his Master of Science in Business from the Edinburgh Business School. He also completed a Fellowship in Accountancy with the ACCA in 2007.
Due to Opeyemi Odeyale’s educational background, it is no surprise that he is dedicated to finance, business, and accounting best practices. He has previously held positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Aviva, Lloyds, & Barclays, as well as JP Morgan & Oceanic Capital. In these roles, Opeyemi worked in auditing, consulting, and corporate finance. All of the skills he has acquired through his educational background and his time at each of these companies has served him well in his time at Ping Express.
Opeyemi Odeyale and his business partner Anslem Oshionebo built Ping Express to help solve the issue of difficult, time consuming, and costly money transfers to other countries. With the service, users can select the type of transfer, the destination country, and the method of payment. During this process, users can see the fees associated with the transfer, as well as Ping Express’s better exchange rate. Within minutes, money will be transferred. The process is simple and easy to use, which is why Opeyemi is so passionate about it.
In the future, Opeyemi Odeyale hopes to continue to grow the Ping Express brand and turn it into a major player in the fintech space. By expanding its offerings to include more countries, Ping Express will be able to meet the needs of more people around the world.
